In collaboration with our key school partners we create learning opportunities to build ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi and cultural practitioners through ʻāina, wahi pana, and ʻike Hawaiʻi hands on experiences for students from east Hawaiʻi Hawaiian language and culture based schools in grades K-12.

    • Utilizing Keaukaha as our learning laboratory, Ka ʻUmeke Kāʻeo is a Hawaiian language immersion pre K-12, learning community, where haumāna and their families are safe, nurtured, and challenged.

    • Ke Ana Laʻahana is a Hawai‘i State public charter intermediate and high school servicing students from grades 7-12 located in the Keaukaha homestead. Their curriculum integrates Hawaiian culture and Keaukaha history, tradition, and resources.

    • The Lanakila Learning Center is an alternative learning center of Hilo High School. Our student population consists of teens that thrive in an educational setting that connects traditional academic instruction with experiential learning.
